Realization of Unity Power Factor Wireless Power Transfer System under Subnormal Operation Conditions

The power factor of wireless transfer system, determined by its compensation network part, is easily affected parameter detuning, coil misalignment, and load variation. In this paper, a mathematical model for the part established. Theoretical analysis shows that inverter can be considered as negative resistor deducing inherent static-state frequency solution part. Therefore, unity system maintained under any possible operation conditions tracking solution. More importantly, no digital controller or identification information interactions between primary secondary coils are needed during process. Compared with previous realization methods, proposed strategy has advantages fewer sampling variables, faster response time, simpler regulation Finally, an experimental platform built to test practical performance many subnormal conditions. Our results show approximate realized at 10–15 cm misalignment distance 30–90 Ω variation range.
